چکیده
Abstract Functional foods, drug delivery systems, and cosmetics are the main areas of application for multiphase where use naturally derived compounds is preferred. Hence, this study aimed to assess possibility using natural surfactants saponin-rich extracts produce emulsions containing antibacterial antioxidant cinnamon clove essential oils (EOs). The analyses nanoparticles dynamic light scattering showed that addition plant solutions allows one obtain stable decreased zeta potential (< −40 mV) droplet size (<200 nm). In all investigated emulsions, increase antioxidative properties was observed when both EOs were used. emulsion with oil stabilized Quillaja saponaria bark saponins has highest combined (3.55 ± 0.01 μg gallic acid equivalent per g). Additionally, a stronger action against Pseudomonas bacteria Glycyrrhiza glabra . addition, did not affect significantly other e.g. wettability, colour, refractive index. All results show proposed can be helpful in preparation multifunctional co-action especially beneficial.
